The season of Japanese pear has come!!

My son's favirote fruit is Japanese pear. So, whenever I find it, I should buy it for him. Because compared with apples, the season of Japanese pear is very short. We can taste it only from the end of summer and to the mid of fall.

And in Japan, farmers concentrate on growing large, sweet, and perfectly-formed fruit; this is more labour-intensive than practices used elsewhere and the prices are a bit higher, but the result has a noticeably differect quality. When I have travelled abroad, I found that we Japanese are used to tasting delicious and sweet fruit.
