Kyoto Tanbaguri, sweet chestnuts

In ancient capital, Kyoto, various kinds of delicious foods are developed since medieval time.  Tasty food that the Emperor and noble people were interested have been cooked by professinal chefs using good quality food ingredients.  Not only main dishes but deserts like chestnuts.   Kyoto is producing local fresh fruits, wild vegetables, Sansai.  Chestnut is not exceptional.  Through special heating processing with small pebbles mixed, sweet chestnuts are made.   Shall we go to Kyoto food street ?
