The whole itinerary is designed only for you, based on your request, and guided by Tokyo local in friendly atmosphere.
You can enjoy walking, train or subway ride, going deep into the city and enjoy feeling the smell, sound, atmosphere of each streets and places, examining people passing by.

If you have no idea where to visit, I will suggest some places that meet your interests.
I will design a tour for you based on your request as much as I can.
On the day of the tour, I will be as flexible as possible.
¥47250 (¥6750×7h) for guide fee
¥3000 for transportations for guide (including round-trip fare from guide's to your hotel)
Costs for foods & drinks, entrance fee, for you and guide.
Transportations for participants.

1) This is not a bus tour or private-car tour. Please note that main means of transportation in this tour is your foot(!) and public transportations.
2) Sometime it takes time to design itinerary, so I am appreciated if you book this tour at least by a week in advance of the date of the tour.
3) I only make contact with future participants of my tour, not with middle men (such as tour company personnel), to avoid confusion and misunderstanding.
Tokyo's dizzying array of sights and experiences can be daunting - where to begin? Answer: Akira!! Akira-san guided my son and I on a tour of Tokyo on two separate days, and I strongly recommend him. Akira listened carefully to my general ideas before the trip, and designed an outstanding Tokyo experience. He took us to both major "must see" sites as well as out-of-the way places that gave us a real sense of Tokyo. We enjoyed traveling like locals and seeing local neighborhoods of all types with Akira. He was always prompt and efficient, and very considerate of our needs. For example, when we got too hot on one day, rather than forging ahead he changed plans on the spot and took us to an indoor attraction (Tokyo's National Museum). We thoroughly enjoyed Akira's excellent communication skills and informative commentary about all the places we visited. If you are in Tokyo, I highly recommend allowing Akira-san to enjoy your time there!

Akira was a kind and wonderful guide who showed us the highlights of Tokyo. He was on time, sensitive to our interests and knowledgeable about history and all the sites. Not only did he personalize our days and show us many places, but also, he gave us a real feel for Japanese culture and traditions. We visited during high temperatures and he was great at managing our day so that we weren’t outside too much while still hitting all the “must sees”. We would love to come back to visit Japan and would definitely ask Akira to guide us again.

Through a mix of walking, train and street car (local tram), Akira took us to shrines, temples, shopping districts, and residential areas (including an authentic local restaurant for a sushi and katsu-style lunch). Akira was great to deal with prior to the tour and tailored the day for us. During the tour, Akira efficiently moved us from place to place and allowed enough rest/drink/donut stops. A couple of other things: His English is very good. He took many lovely photos of us throughout the day (after asking if ok) and air-dropped them to us at the end of the tour. He gave us numerous tips for other places we could visit based on our questions. Akira is a great man and the perfect guide. We had a great day, thanks Akira.

Our family really enjoyed and appreciated Akira’s insightful tour of Tokyo. Highlights included not just visiting the main tourist attractions but more importantly, seeing the side of Tokyo not available in “cookie cutter” (usual) tours — the various neighborhoods and sites that are off the beaten path. Akira is easy going and accommodating — and that helps with teens/kids. Also, his knowledge and insight was remarkable. And his English is fluent thanks to his love for 1980’s American TV shows!!!!
