This tour includes horse trekking and lunch in Karuizawa area, where you can relax in beautiful nature away from the city.
Horse trekking is for very first beginners to experienced riders. Just let me know what your level is!
I will be taking many photos for you during the tour and send them to you later.
Later for lunch, you can try Nagano Soba noodle or Tempura in my recommended restaurant(favorite place among local people!), or you can just tell me what you would like to eat.
At your hotel or nearby station
We have a free car ride service offered by the horse riding center, and we have to be at Miyota station at 9am.
If you prefer to meet at your hotel, we can meet earlier time so we can make it on time.
Most of the customers are first timers, so you do not need to worry!
Admission is 12,800yen for one person for 50minutes riding.

I will stay with you to take pictures and explain during practice time(first 20minutes).
Customers will go into the forest with another guide, who speaks little English.
If you would like me to stay with you for the full riding tour, I have to ask you for my horse riding fees(12800yen).
For experienced riders who can trot or canter, I recommend joining 100minutes riding.
Admission is 21,000 yen for one person.

There is a famous walnut soba noodle place near the riding center.
They have regular Soba, rice bowls, and tempura as well for those who have allergies to walnut.
It costs about 1,500 yen for one person.
We can take a taxi from the restaurant to the station(1,300yen).

【Horse Riding】
-Age restrictions: We accept from 9 years old. Weight limits are up to 80kg.
-We cannot take pregnant for horse riding.
-if it rains, you can still go trekking. The riding center rent boots, helmets, and rain clothes.
-The riding center is open all year long!
-Please wear comfortable long pants and shirts.
-I apologize in advance if the riding center over book on your preferred dates. In that case, I will have to ask you to change the dates or time.

3. Dango(rice dumpling) cafe
Horse riding fees include insurance during the trekking.
However, insurance EXCEPT horse trekking is not included during my tour, so I recommend joining travel insurance on your own.

You can try 100 minutes riding tour if you can trot or canter.
Because the tour time will be long, there will be an additional costs of 2,000yen.
We spent a lovely morning with Kanami-san, riding in the forest and having soba for lunch. Wish we had planned for a full day, and we will definitely do so next time!
