Gujo is an old castle town, where holds bon-dancing every summer. You also enjoy dancing together! Local classic train takes you to such a nostalgic town. You also enjoy the beautiful scenery of clean river and mountains from the window during the train-ride. In the town, you enjoy the castle on top of the hill, clean canal with some colored carps and silk-screen printing. Please come to Gujo-Hachiman in Gifu!!

meet at Gifu JR station and get on the train to Mino and change trains at Mino Station to Gujo （I can pick you up to your hotel if you want)
after getting off the train at Gujo-Hachiman, let's enjoy lunch at a local restaurant
after lunch, climb up the hill to the top and visit Guji-Hachiman Castle
after lunch, let's enjoy experience screen-printing!! It's very fun!!

Local train from Mino to Gujo-Hachiman is so beautiful and you can enjoy magnificent mountainside scenery through the train-ride. It takes one hour and a half, but you won't feel bored. If you want, you can have lunch while being on the train. Gujo-Hachiman is an old castle town and very quiet, nostalgic town. It has a small, but very beautiful castle and you can climb it on foot. It takes only ten minutes. You also enjoy wonderful scenery of the peaceful town from the castle. After mountain climbing, let's try silk screen printing by yourself! Staff teaches you how to do it very politely, so I am sure you can have a good experience and you can make a nice souvenir by yourself.
In addition, just beside the screen printing shop, there is a small stream which has some beautiful carps. It will make you so relaxed and peaceful.

I'm a local guide of Gifu, Nagoya and Aichi, but I can guide you around Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Kanazawa, Takayama and Shiga if you pay my transportation fee.
Local train to and from Gujo-Hachiman is 3500 yen, which include entrance fee of Hachiman-jo Castle.
Silk-screen printing hands-on experience fee is from 1000 yen to 2000 yen. The cost is different what type printing you choose.
It takes about 40 minutes or so to make silk-screen printing towel or bag.
I can pick up to your hotel , in that case, you have to pay for my transportation fee(1100 yen)
Beautiful local train runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. If you want to attend this tour-guide on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, the train becomes normal local train. In that case, train fare is 3000 yen.
Yuriko is very nice, calm and gentle. She took care about the needs of everyone in our family group She organized a wonderful two half day tour around Kyoto and made her best to make us survive the heat

Yuriko (also known as Lilly) was an amazing tour guide. She was so very knowledgeable about the history of Takayama and told interesting stories that we all enjoyed. Our family of 6 ranged in ages from 6 years to 70 years. I would highly recommend her as a guide and also recommend Takayama as a beautiful town to visit on your journey. Yuriko organised a lovely lunch and we enjoyed delicious food.

Yuriko came a pretty long way from her home and our 4 hour tour was basically a full day commitment for her. But you wouldn't know it from her energy and enthusiasm. We hit most of the major sights in Takayama, so it was an efficient use of time, and she added some interesting information along the way. Her English skills were excellent, perhaps the best of the 4 guides we used. And like all of our guides she really went out of her way to accommodate our requests and make us feel like her personal guests. She even gave us small handcrafted gifts.
